Bishops in the Lords

Almost everyone now recognises the need for a reformed second chamber - where minorities can be properly represented, legislation properly scrutinised and the government properly held in check.

That’s why today we’re asking you to send a message to 26 figures who sit in the House of Lords as of right – unelected and unaccountable. 

POWER2010 have just set up an easy to use tool which lets you contact the 26 Church of England Bishops who sit in Parliament – and call on them to engage positively with democratic renewal rather than burying their heads in the sand.
