A BHA briefing provided for members of the House of Commons Public Bill Committee that is considering the current Children, Schools and Families Bill, in support of three amendments tabled by Ken Purchase MP. The three amendments seek to ensure that schools teach Personal, Social, Health, Economic (PSHE) education in ways that promote diversity and encourage acceptance and do not advocate homophobic perspectives, as well as ensure that parent’s right to withdraw children from sex education is removed.
