Humanism 2009!

From 5-10 June 2009 the British Humanist Association is hosting the General Assemblies of the European Humanist Federation (EHF) and the International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU) in central London.

To mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin and the 150th anniversary of the publication of Darwin’s ‘On the origin of species’, the centerpiece of the June programme will be an international day conference on ‘Darwin, Humanism and Science’.

We hope to provide a dinner on the evening of 6 June and there may be additional events on the evening of 5 June and afternoon of 8 June – further details on these will be sent to delegates who have registered.
