PZ Myers is an American biology professor at the University of Minnesota Morris and the author of the science blog Pharyngula. He is currently an associate professor of biology at UMM. He has published numerous research papers in Nature and other notable scientific journals. He is a public critic of intelligent design and of the creationist movement in general and is an activist in the American creation–evolution controversy.
Richard Dawkins, former Charles Simonyi Professor of the Public Understanding of Science at the University of Oxford (until 2008) and Honorary Vice-President of the British Humanist Association, was born 1941. His published works include The Selfish Gene , Unweaving the Rainbow , Climbing Mount Improbable, The Devil’s Chaplain and The God Delusion.
