200 years after the birth of Charles Darwin, arguably Britain's greatest scientist, and 150 years after the publication of On the Origin of Species, Darwin's greatest work, what is the state of British science? Former Chief Scientific Adviser to the Government, Professor Sir David King, will ask "Can British Science Rise to the New Challenges of the Twenty First Century?". The event is chaired by BHA Vice President Professor Richard Dawkins at Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, London WC1 on Wednesday 11th February at 6.30pm.
